Kellen's new Toy

Preston bought me this great bike today, along with all the stuff so that Kellen could ride with me. You can see me holding Kellen's helmet, so don't worry he is well protected. We  all went for a ride after my bike was ready to go. Kellen had a great time. So much fun, that when we got home he throw one of his routine tantrums. Money well spent.

Tagged

I really hate Tags! I like to read them but I don't like to write them. I have been tagged so many times it's ridicules. So out of love for the person who tagged me, who we will refer to as V. Harrington... no that's to obvious, will call her Vanessa H. This is for you.
1.How did you meet your spouse? My boyfriend introduced us. A year and a half later we had our first date.
2. Who eats more sweets? Definitly me.
3. Who said I love you first? Probably me, but I can't remember.
4. How old is he? Turning 28 this June
5.Who is taller? Preston,
6. Who is smarter? Preston is, hands down! But I'm a pretty, smart, cookie.
7. Who can sing better? Preston, He comes from a whole family of singers,
8. Who does the laundry? I do it like 90% of the time, but of that 90% Preston will do it like 80% of the time.
9. Who pays the bills? I do, I don't let Preston near the bills. I have control issues . . .
10. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? Me
11. Who mows the lawn? We don't have one.
12. Who cooks dinner? I cook most of the time. When it's Preston's turn, we usually go out.
13. Who drives? Well, that completely depends on what you mean.  When Preston is alone, he drives.  When I'm alone, I drive.  When we're together, Kellen picks.  Specifics Bob.
14. Who is more stubborn? I'll claim this one.
15. Who kissed who first? Preston kissed me before I had a chance to kiss him.
16. Who asked who out? I asked him out
17. Who is more sensitive? Me
18. Who has more siblings? I do. 4 brothers, 2 sisters.
19. Who wears the pants? We don't wear pants-or anything else produced by the man-in this family.

OK I did it Vanessa H. are you happy?
This is my one and only tag, so I hope you all got your fix.
TAAAGGGG Jess, you're it!  Snicker snicker, giggle, snort.

Mommy Tip of the Month

Summer & heat is upon some of you already, so that means pop-sickles for the kids right? How about you give this a try.
Step 1: Throw a box of go-gurts in the freezer.
Step 2: Now when your kids ask for something cold and delicious to cool them off, you can give them yogurt instead. Just run hot water over one of the tubes for a few seconds, to loosen the yogurt from the sides.
With only 70 calories & 10 grams of sugar per serving, you can be sure that your kids are eating something more then just sugar and water.
Enjoy, & have fun.

Sun Valley

Daddy & Kellen

While Preston was at meetings all day, Kellen and I went for a walk, a toy store,( and yes I did buy him some awesome toys) the pool and Lunch.  When Preston was finally finished for the day, we took Kellen to the park, an amazing Dinner,(It really was amazing) a darling little book store (like the one in You've got Mail) and then back to the pool.
This week thus far has been a great week for family fun. And Kellen is definitely getting his fill of Mommy and Daddy time.

Meet Katie

I told Preston he could pick a youtube video and add it to the blog, so he would feel more involved. This is the one he picked, and needless to say I was stoked. This clip is one of the many moments of sure genius.

To The Park

Kellen is getting to be such a big boy! He climbs up and down the play-set without any help, and he can go down the slide all by himself.

Swimming

Kellen loves to swim, so we took him to this nice pool her in Rexburg. He's really starting to venture out, and be more daring; which can be good and bad. He's jumping in all on his own now, and holding his breath under-water. I just have to be sure to hold his hands at all times, because he'll start to jump in, without any warning.
The manager of this pool is in our ward so he lets us go for free any time we want to, so that works out great in Kellen's favor.

Schools out!!

This is how excited Kellen was when we told him Mommy & Daddy are done with school.  Just kinding, but the way Kellen looks, is the way Preston and I feel. We finished out the winter semester and start back for summer semester in a week. Until then, we are going to do nothing but play with kellen.
